WOW!!! What a fabulous production. Congratulations and a huge thank you to anyone who was involved in the making of this show (particularly Jackie Doherty who was last seen trying to sell tentacles on Ebay). A happy show with some brand new and very welcome members – we hope they enjoyed their first time with AMAS and will come back and join us again. The show wasn’t without its problems, however, and we wish a speedy recovery to Graham Bailey who broke his foot whilst climbing out of a man-eating plant on the Friday night of the show (now there’s a sentence I never thought I’d type). In true AMAS style, however, the show went on on the Saturday night with Stephen Pilkington taking Graham’s place inside the plant – he then proceeded to break two ribs on his way home, after a well-earned drink (we’ll leave him to tell you how it happened)! You can imagine what the paramedic had to say when he was called out on the second night
